Our Story

We co-founded a Bitcoin startup and developed a playbook to generate media coverage, getting featured in Business Insider, Fox news, CNBC, Financial Times, and more.  That startup failed (horrible, horrible times). 5 founders reached out and asked if we could help get them in the media. In late 2014, we launched our agency.

Evolution 1: 2015 - 2018 

Guerilla Phase

In our early days, we helped clients execute guerilla marketing campaigns to generate buzz, interest, and media coverage. Our stories were normally edgy and creative.

Launched a Bitcoin 35km into space

Early in this phase, we also tried to build a network of agencies and freelancers who delivered services results-based. It was a total flop and we lost a lot of money.

Evolution 2: 2019 - 2021

Strategic Comms Phase

We moved to a more high-touch model with retainers and heavy involvement from our side to lead all things communications. This included Executive Ghostwriting, Narrative Development, Crisis Management, Media Relations, and Funding Announcements (announced over $2 Billion in funding) Mostly focused on growth-stage startups in emerging tech and cybersecurity. Our approach was focused on developing content to generate media coverage.

Evolution 3: 2021 - Current

B2B Media Production

Using our storytelling and distribution skills developed from comms work with 500+ tech companies, we began producing our own content to build an audience. That’s what our core business has become: we’ve built a content machine and we produce our own 20+ shows and produce shows for more than 80 tech companies.
